Are you prepared for an emergency or disaster if one were to occur in the Central Valley right now.  What would you do?  Where would you go?  Would your family know what to do if you were not there?  What about your pets?  What about your important personal documents?  These are just a few things we need to consider when preparing for any type of emergency and/or disaster.

2-1-1 Fresno County is a Disaster and Emergency Response Center that will assist callers with non-emergency information (if medical attention and/or law enforcement is needed, please call 9-1-1).  Some examples of non-emergency assistance would be: assistance with shelter, food and water, updates on disaster and/or emergency, and volunteerism.

There are many resources available to help you start preparation or to help you further prepare. Below are a some links that will be able to shed light on the the importance of preparing and what steps you need to take.
